For more than 5 years, Cindi Staley has enjoyed photographing God’s creation … beautiful landscapes, flowers (macro) and wildlife… to things such as Civil War reenacting and, especially, West Virginia scenery/animals/points of interest. She also enjoys photographing patterns in nature and architecture. Cindi served in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps (208th and 463rd MP Companies), after graduating with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from West Virginia University. She has worked in the fields of security and corrections and has now returned to Social Work as the Outreach Coordinator for a senior center. She was fortunate to meet Arnout Hyde, Jr. (a great West Virginia professional photographer) at a Civil War reenactment where he was very encouraging (and inspirational) to her pursuing her love of photography, especially by publishing one of her pictures in Wonderful West Virginia Magazine. She likes to use a combination of 35mm and digital photography to print color, black-and-white, and sepia-toned photos. Photography is a wonderful hobby!
